What in our brains make that connection between the eyes and the stomache?
Answer:
I think it is conditioning. Like lightening- would you be afraid of it if no one ever screamed and hid . After a while you get used to it and blood and guts and puke no longer get to you. But all that aside it must be the adrenaline rush that shocks your body and you gag from the over load.
It is due to the gag reflex
