If your mom doesn't care, then she'll let you do anything and everything without question. I'm glad that I had loving parents.

The way your question is written it is difficult to understand what you are asking. I am going to assume that you are asking why mothers tend to be so protective or over protective.
Mothers carry a child in the womb until born and from birth until the time the child is about 2 years of age provide total and constant care for the child. From age 2 to 6 the child begins to become a little bit able to care for themselves.
From 6 to 12 they still need fairly constant adult supervision even though they are pretty well able to take care of the basic functions. From 13 to 18 children reach that magical la la land where they think they are adults and know everything and their parents fell off the turnip truck yesterday. The children during their teens are vulnerable to anything that comes along because they haven't the experience to know sh*t from shinola and are ready to try anything. This is why the mothers are still trying to protect their children.
By the way, after 18, and for the rest of their life, mothers still try to advise their children on what is best.
As a MOM, its because we love our children so much. They are precious from the moment of conception and we worry that something may hurt them. We want to protect them from any type of hurt.
