Why is a quickly growing mass of your own cells dangerous to your health?

Cancer kills by complications it causes. This is usually due to the constant and accelerating growth which overwhelms the bodies ability to cope.The reasoning is, if cancer existed in the body but stopped growing, the body could still survive.The body can tolerate a tumor pushing against a organ so much. In brain cancer, the brain has little addition room. Brain tumors often cause seizures and vomiting due to increased intercranial pressure.Blockages can occur. This can lower appetite (leading to slow wasting as in pancreatic cancer). Examples cancers of the abdomen and esphogeus.Cancer cells often produce enyzmes which in small quantities can be tolerated. Fluid accumulation in the lungs, bone destroying enyzmes, etc. These can cause potentially fatal chemical imbalances that can lead to a heart attack, liver and/or kidney failure. Examples, cancers of the lung, bone and, leukemias.In addition, cancer cells use the bodies energy and produce waste (blood) like any other cell.In short, cancer profileration overwhelms the body and that's what really kills.

The cells grow uncontrolled. They do not function like normal cells, they aren't doing the job they are supposed to do. Some of them release substances like hormones causing problems like high blood pressure. They can spread to other areas (metastasis) such as the brain or bone. They can cause damage in local areas and damage vital organs. They replace working cells such as a working liver cell. For example tumors in the heart could obstruct the vessels interrupting blood flow. Metasis in the hip bone can lead to a broken hip. Tumors in the brain can cause loss of function and damage even death.

Exactly - there is nothing in all history to suggest why growing masses = cancer. We need to know how this came about %26 when.
Mass = cancer.Too complex to define. Can not define why multiple mass = cancer.

It doesn't always. Try Vitamin C therapy. A few years ago a cancer specialist came out with a paper that said the best cancer/infection fighter found to date was Interferon. At the time it was $15,000 a gram. The paper also said that Interferon was a by-product of the natural breakdown of Vitamin C in your body. Shortly after that the FDA tried to make Vitamin C by prescription only. Guess why? The FDA has the RDA for Vitamin C set at 64 mg a day, just enough to ward off scurvy. Linus Pauling, who got a Nobel Prize for his work with Vitamin C and a second Nobel Prize for Organic Chemistry, said that 1000 mg a day should be the minimum and 2000 mg a day if you are sick or smoke. He played tennis almost daily until the day he died at 96. Personally, I got sick twice a year for 2 weeks at a time, for more than 20 years, with something to this day the doctors have no idea what it was, but for a week in the middle of those 2 weeks I was flat on my back. Vitamin C acts as a natural diuretic so you need to drink a lot of water and watch your body in total, but my kidneys did not dissolve as the doctors predicted, or get massive kidney stones as other predicted. I did not dissolve my bones as some predicted or completely calcify my joints as others predicted. I had no side effects at all. It might be something to consider.
