Why do you get lumpy waves in your fingernails?

Answer:
I find that I sometimes get ridges and "dents" in my nails after I wear fake nails. Acrylics or stick on nails... it is because the nail gets to soft I believe.

Its calcium that builds up, depending on how much or too little calcium you have. I have a few, so I better off be drinking boos of milk.
trust me, fingernails are similar to bones, they have calcium to build up.

The nail matrix has been damaged. The matrix is where the nail is formed; the rest of it just rides the nail bed outward until you cut them.
