I bought new headphones for my iPod, and when I was looking at the back it said "WARNING! Wires may cause cancer." Why would they make a product that has a chance of giving you cancer?
Answer:
These days, the world is all about money. The people who own big companies know that a lot of people don't even read the warnings on the back. The stuff that may cause cancer is cheaper than the stuff proven safe, so they make more money. Big companies have become too greedy. And since they did include a disclaimer, people can't sue them if they get cancer.
Because a lot of the chemicals are cheaper to use or more efficient for the tasks they are used for.
they don't care all they want is money
they just want the money they dont care about you..its all about money these days like gas for example fricken $3.16 for one gallon..expensive
Did you return the product? If you decided to keep the iPod and risk the minuscule chance of cancer you have your answer.
This happens all of the time..Have you seen cigarette companies lately?
Money of course. Let the buyer beware.
Look around your house and probably 50-75 percent of the things in it can cause cancer. It's not one item that will likely cause you cancer, but the build-up in the environment of certain things over time can lead to developing cancer. Most companies don't care about how sick anyone gets. They will only stop doing it if hurts their business. The best way to get around this is to research abnd buy from environmentally-friendly companies, companies that give money towards health research, companies that are truly innovative and looking for ways to be more natural and reduce the toxins we are spewing into the environment.
Because manufacturers have stable lobby in the Congress
they dont care its all about the money.......
