Why do i snore & talk in my sleep? Is this a health concern?

Answer:
Snoring is an indication of a health concern.. it might be because you're overweight or you may be at risk for heart problems... and as for talking in your sleep it is usually an indicator that you've had a very tiring day. Stressed out from the day's work can be a possible cause of snoring and talking in your sleep.
Snoring can be a symptom of sleep apnea.
That often occurs if you are overweight. As you relax when falling to sleep your airway becomes blocked, jolting you awake. This can go on hundreds of times during the night, so that you never attain deep restfull sleep. Do you also wake up with a headache or tend to nod off in meetings? See your doctor to arrange a test. A Cpap machine can be prescribed to you following tests that will help considerably.
You have two problems
Firtsly the more complex the snoring thisis caused byfat layers layed down at the back of the troat .Do you need to lose wait geneally ? if so do so . You do not wnt to go on to develop sleep aponea which canexaust you and harm your heart
The talking in the sleep? perhaps you should seeyour doctor abour a mild sedative . And adress what problems youhave with your life obviousley your subconcious is milling over these when you are asleep
Others have addressed your health concerns and I agree. Talking in your sleep is probably related but not necessarily a bad thingMy late partner talked in his sleep and I used to write down what he said because it was so funny. (I wasn't making fun of him). It was just delightful. He worked with homeless people in a community computer club. Once in his sleep he said. "When you open Windows, all the water falls out". I wish I had been in his dream. He's gone now but I still have all those little notes.
Talking in your sleep is not a problem. Snoring happens when the airway is partially blocked. Sleep apnea happens when the airway completely blocks off. If are tired all the time or ever wake up with a snort you should let your doctor know. If you snore then stop and snore then stop it is a bad sign. When the airway is blocked completely you're not moving any air so you can't snore.
